Ivory & Rust was founded by Sarah Schmidt in 2021 with a passion for thoughtful design, meaningful experiences, and genuine hospitality.
With a background in Communications and certification in Wedding & Event Planning from The University of Akron, Sarah brings together creativity, organization, and a calm, client-focused approach to every celebration.
Over the years, she has worked closely with couples, families, and businesses to plan weddings and events that feel elevated, seamless, and deeply personal. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, every detail is approached with intention and care.
What began as a love for beautiful design and bringing people together has grown into a modern event experience centered around connection, storytelling, and unforgettable moments.
